Psychology at Upstream
Upstream offers one-on-one psychology consultations with clinical psychologists - Karen Davies, Tim Fischer, Mandy Pickering, psychologist Dagmara Riitano & health psychologist Mel Opozda.

We provide services privately and through Medicare. We also accept third party referrals Motor Vehicle Accident, Return To Work South Australia, Department of Veterans Affair, National Disability Insurance Scheme and Defence.

How to access
Referrals can be made directly by clients, or via a treating health professional. Clients wishing to access Medicare rebates require a valid Mental Health Care Plan prepared by a GP. A maximum of 10 Medicare sessions per calendar year are available under a Mental Health Care Plan.
*Previously clients were able to access 20 sessions covered in part by Medicare under a Mental Health Care Plan during the COVID-19 pandemic. However this has reverted as of January 2023 back to 10 sessions.

Clients may also be referred by third party agencies; Motor Vehicle Accident, Return To Work South Australia, Department of Veterans Affair, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Defence.
